The decision to end negotiations means that the Royal Danish Library will not enter into a national licence agreement with Oxford University Press (OUP), and that the institutions (including Aalborg University) will therefore not be part of a licence agreement with OUP for 2026.
It is possible to use Aalborg University Library’s interlibrary loan service for material that is no longer accessible via AAU.
Oxford University Press has a green Open Access policy for several of their hybrid journals. This means that the author is permitted to make the accepted author manuscript openly available in an institutional repository.
At AAU, VBN is your institutional repository, and it is therefore important that you upload your accepted author manuscript to Pure as part of your registration practice.
During the validation of your publication, the VBN team will assess whether the accepted author manuscript may be made openly available and will add any licence and embargo period in accordance with the publisher’s policy.
