Are you ready for this year's University Party? On 4 April 2025, staff and students at AAU can once again join us for a great party when AKKC opens its doors for an evening of good food, song, dance and an amazing music programme!

During week 9, we will unveil this year's music programme. Keep an eye on AAU's Instagram profile, where you can guess this year's musical acts and win tickets to the university party.

Ticket sales start on 3 March

Ticket sales will start on 3 March. All staff and students will receive an invitation on their AAU email with a link to buy tickets. There are a limited number of tickets and last year we sold out very quickly - so don't wait too long to buy your ticket. Please note that tickets can only be purchased at the ticket sale and not at the entrance. .

Although the party will take place in Aalborg, we also hope to see students and staff from our campuses in Esbjerg and Copenhagen. Bus transport to and from the event will be organised.

The practical details

• Time: Friday 4 April from 18:15-01:30 - however, the bar in Fundamentet will be open from 17:00 with live music. Rector welcomes you at 18.15, then the buffet opens.
• Location: Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center, Europa Plads 4, 9000 Aalborg - please use the main entrance where your ticket will be scanned.
• Price: DKK 275 per person incl. dinner, 1 drink ticket, 1 glass of wine poured with dinner and wardrobe. Drinks tickets will be handed out at the entrance. After that, drinks are at your own expense.
• Invitations to the University Party will be sent out in week 9 via a personalised email to staff and students. The number of tickets is limited. No admission without a ticket.
• Registration: Required
• If you have registered for bus transport from Esbjerg or Copenhagen, you will receive an email with further information.
• Wardrobe: Free of charge. Located in Fundamentet, which you can find by going down the stairs in the lobby. Here there is a bar and music from 17.00 until the doors to the ballroom open. You'll also find an overview map with the seating plan in Fundamentet.
• Come early and enjoy a drink with your colleagues before the party starts. Don't forget your ticket.
