Rector Per Michael Johansen was recently elected as the incoming president of the Academy of Technical Sciences. He will take over the position in 2026 and will be part of the board, permanent executive committee and senior management of the Academy which is responsible for strategy, projects and finances.
"This is a great honour and I am proud of the trust the Academy has shown me," says Rector Per Michael Johansen.
The Academy of Technical Sciences is an independent, member-driven think tank that creates the framework for research and development of new technology. For the members, it is a meeting place between technology and knowledge that will secure Denmark and Europe globally in both digitalization and sustainability.
