After previous years' success with more than 1,100 AAU participants, Aalborg University (AAU) will once again this year compete in the DHL Relay 2024 in Aalborg and Copenhagen.

AAU is registered for the DHL Relay in Aalborg on Tuesday 27 August. The race is held at Dyreskuepladsen. The university has booked a large tent where the university's employees can have fun together, and where participants can get a bite to eat and something to drink before, during and after the race.

In Copenhagen, AAU is registered for the DHL Relay on Monday 26 August, and in Esbjerg, the university will participate in Vestkystløbet [The West Coast Race] on Sunday 9 June.

You can participate in the DHL Relay on both walking and running teams. A team consists of five people who either walk all five kilometers together or run the five kilometers in turn.

If neither running nor walking appeal to you, we encourage you to come and cheer on the participants and hang out with your colleagues. The running route goes past the AAU tent, so it is possible to cheer on colleagues as they run past.

All staff members participating in the race this year will receive a blue Craft running t-shirt.

Registration

Each department/unit appoints a contact person who is responsible for all team registrations on behalf of the individual unit. This person must send their contact information to AAU's DHL coordinators no later than 1 May at dhl-aau@aau.dk.
