The Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships - Mobility experiences to boost your career
14.06.2021 kl. 09.30 - 18.06.2021 kl. 15.00
To boost the number of grants awarded by Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions under the Horizon Europe programme, F&P will arrange a Marie Curie Talent Course on week 22 (dates and time to be confirmed). The course is intended for the following Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) with AAU as host institution:
MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships support individual researchers at postdoctoral level and beyond to work on a research project of their own. Mobility between countries is required in order to acquire new skills and experience, as well as to enhance the employability of the supported researcher in the future. Funding is open to researchers from any nationality. Any research field may qualify for funding.
For the European Fellowship a strict mobility rule applies (the fellow must not have lived, worked or studied in Denmark for more than 12 months in the 3 years before the deadline). Funding is open to researchers from any nationality. The grants are usually 2 years. An additional placement for up to 6 months in a non-academic sector in MS/AC is possible.
For the Global Fellowship, applicants may not have lived or worked in the country of the host organisation for the outgoing phase for more than 12 months during the past 3 years The Fellowships consists of a research stay (for 1-2 year) in a Third Country and a 1-year mandatory return phase to AAU. During the whole duration of the Fellowship the researcher is employed by AAU. Also here an additional placement for up to 6 months in a non-academic sector in MS/AC is possible.
In 2014-2018, relatively young to mid-career researchers (between 0 and 9 years research experience after PhD) got the highest success rates. In Horizon Europe the “scientific age” (years since PhD) is 8 and young researchers are encouraged to apply.
Due to the Covid-19 emergency, the AAU Marie Curie Talent Course 2021 will be delivered online through a combination of recorded video lectures, on-line support material and on-line group works on specific topics. The course is an opportunity for talented young researchers to get support with their application. They will be introduced to AAU and every part of the proposal template.
We are looking for AAU supervisors with an excellent research track record and high quality candidates pointed out by the supervisors.
For postdoctoral candidates to attend the AAU 2021 Marie Curie Talent Course, AAU supervisors should contact potential candidates and
